JLand photoshoot #131

Our subject this week is:

Sacred

(Interpret this anyway you like. Some suggestions are: holy, faith, religious, prayer, church, solitude, Bible, etc.)

So he're my take on sacred, the first 2 are the Holy Book of the Muslim called the Quran, it's written in Arabic and one needs to have an ablution before the book can be handled and read. It belong to me, Yes I'm a born and practising Muslim.
This second picture is the Hindu Deity, not sure what's the name but Indian devotees pray to her for a bless life. It's taken from a Hindu temple in Singapore.

The next picture is from a temple in Krabi, Thailand, on the praying altar of the Taoist . The big statue is the Quan Ying, the Goddess of Mercy

This next picture was taken in Bali, Indonesia, at a Hindu temple during one of the offering ceremony to their God.

Being born and breed in a multi racial multi religious society, we're taught from young to respect and aware of each other's religion practices. I always believe religion is personal matters between one and it's maker and no one should be judged based on what is his/her beliefs. And being from different religions doesn't make one a less friend than the other! it's all about acceptance one as an indidual.
