hmmmm I don't celebrate Thanksgiving but I got plenty of food with RED! I pratically must have the RED in my cooking, the tongue must have been numbed by it that anything else without it doesn't taste as nice. I'm talking about the RED CHILLI here of course, it's mostly grinded with onions and garlic and cooked over low flame till became thick. For a litlle sour just add some tamarind juice or chopped tomatoes, with the right amount of sugar the 'sambal' - as it's known locally',can taste heavenly and not too hot.
This is boiled egg being served with 'tomato sambal', a hot favorite for my family. It's best eaten with plain white rice, with a vegetable dish on the side to complete the meal.
