When you see these power lines, you're definitely not in Singapore anymore because we do not have these type of power lines. Most of our cables goes underground. These are taken while on a road trip to Johore, Malaysia which is connected to a causeway bridge to Singapore.

Round Robin Challenge- weeds can be beautiful too
Pretty mimosa or sometimes being called touch-me-not, for simple reason....one touch on the leaves will send them closing up for a few seconds.
Another tiny weed's flower but not sure of it's name.

New Monday Shoot #26- Fake
"New Monday Shoot #26: Show us something that's fake in some way. Faux fur, non-alcoholic beer, imitation bacon bits...whatever you like; if it's not real, we want to see it!"

Fake flowers on my coffee table, everlasting! don't have to worry about them dying on me.

Not my son's guitar but a mini version, strictly not for playing! It's about 8 inches in height.

Weekend assignment #221 What are you drinking?
Weekend Assignment #221: What do you like to drink? Do you prefer Coke, or Pepsi, or neither? Do you start your days at Starbucks, or end your days with a nice cup of herbal tea? Are you a connoisseur of beer, or do you like to keep a pitcher of lemonade on hand? Do you carry a bottle of water around, and refill it as you go? Tell us about your favorites!
Like Karen I don't drink alchohol and coffee, but on a daily basis, I must have hot milo (chocolate malt drink) , while reading the morning newspaper. I like wake up earlier than the rest of the family so that I can have an uninterrupted reading , while sipping the hot beverage and whatever simple meals I prepared for myself. Most of the time, it's just milo to kickstart the day.

In the afternoon it's always lipton tea or whatever brand of tea I happend to have at hand, great with biscuits, muffins or cake. So very English eh.... I like to add pandan leaves or mint to the tea for added fragrance .Some people like ice tea or ice lemon tea, but I don't. To me tea are meant to be drink hot and not cold, but on a hot afternoon I like to make lemonade or limeade with lots of ice.

Other times it's either cordial or boiled cooled tap water. I drink plain water by the galon, either room temperature or iced cold, that's the only thirst quencher for me. Whenever I eat out I always order mineral water or ice bandung- that's rose syrup with milk.

I don't like any carbonated fizzy drink so have never stocked them at home. The sons and hubby too don't like them so no reason to actually buy them , except maybe once in a blue moon when we get a craving. I try to avoid any sugared drink but I'm not a diabetic, just don't like them, maybe because I don't have sweet tooth.
Just before bedtime, it's either hot milo or fresh milk to end the day.

New Monday Shoot #25 -Candles
Karen wants to see candles, ok those I got lots at home but I'm going to just show 2 which happen to be my most favorite. I bought them for decoration purposes and refused to light them except for photo taking. Thank God we never have blackout so don't need to rely on the candles. Even if there's one, I will just use the flashlights!

This candle holder was actually given to me by a friend, I managed to find the exact size candle for it and occasionally would light it for just for photography session.
I saw these 3 candles during one Christmas sales a few years ago, and about 2 months later found the perfect stands at another store.

Photo Hunt 112 - Self
Can you see me?
This was really an unintentional shot, I was taking photos of the beautiful embroideries blouse and caught me in action. I just cropped the picture to make it more visible.
