ABC Wednesday....F

F is for Fried rice, a simple one dish meal. Basically you just throw in whatever you have in the fridge. There's no wrong way about doing it, for mine I've use fresh chillies, garlic, onions and dried prawns - all grinded into fine paste- and sauteed with a little oil till fragrance, then add in the salt, seafood, eggs....finally the rice and mix well. I love to add slice long beans or cabbage for the crunchy taste.
The simple Chinese version would just need garlic, onions, pepper, eggs, rice......

Fried rice is easy to cook and tasty too. In fact, planning to cook that for dinner. Yours look yummy.

Time to visit New Zealand again? My mum was like your kids, she went to the sheep, and then when she came back she said, it was smelly.

Getting new baju for hari Raya?

Your rice rice looks bagus. My stove is not hot enough, my fried rice don't taste as good.

Thanks, I've never quite got the hang of frying rice, maybe I need to use more oil.

Meals that use up leftovers are always a hit with me. ;-)

Your version sounds sedap!
I usually fry Chinese style, don't have to use much ingredients. :P

Presumably you have to use cooked rice? I love risotto, so I'd probably like this, too, except I can't eat egg ...

Whenever I eaqt chinese food, I always order pork fried rice as my main course. I don't usually have anything with it, just the rice which is so yummy.

That looks so tasty, and so attractively presented. Presentation is often neglected, but so important.

On behalf of the ABC Team, thanks for joining this week's FUN.

Oh how yummy! I wish I had some right now! True it's not even 8am here yet but I would love to have that any time of the day or night.

Love all your beautiful posts this week Jama. I wish I could find a better way to keep up other than running through everything on the weekend.

Have a great weekend and a wonderful week ahead :-)
