This week's theme is LAYERS.......layers of anything that we can find around us, be it naturally layered or create something layered.I was looking around my house for a subject to photograhed, and I found it in the fridge. Individually wrapped sliced cheese! I love eating simple cheese sandwiches served with hot tea. Of course not forgetting lots of butter on the toasted bread, so yummy.
Slices of layered cake, served during a wedding. A tedious task to do this layered cake, need to grill each layer to golden brown perfection before adding another layer. Grill too long you will burned the cake.

Oh, you got some really nice rice terraces in Bali too!
The kueh lapis, after I found out how hard it is to make them, when I serve them, I tell my guest that it is a sin to gobble them. Then I demostrate how it is made.

Very interesting, the layers -- especially the field in Bali. To me, that is very pleasing to the eye.
