EMPS # 52 : LAUNDRY

This week's theme is very easy for me , all I need to do is look out from my 13th floor apartment and I can see everybody's laundry. Most of us are not using dryer since we have the natural and free dryer, just need to hang the wet laundry out of the kitchen's window to be sun-dried. I do my laundry daily.

Freshly hanged laundry, once you get the hang of it , it's actually very easy to bring the laundry out, as long as there's no strong wind.
Looking down on my neighbors' laundry.

Hahaha, that looks quite funny and reminds me Italy ! There the laundry is even hanging over the streets in small towns !

hi Jama, I stopped using the dryer..and just hang up to dry too. It dries quickly in my service balcony which faces the east.

What unique shots Jama. I'm wondering what you do if you drop a piece of clothing all the way from the 13th floor?
I like your cloths pins too.
I hang all my laundry out, and love the fresh smell.
Have a wonderful rest of the week.

My foreign friends are usually amused by these sights of our laundry hanging out to dry. :)

I love these pictures. There is nothing like line dried clothes.
The Color Catcher sheets (they used to be called color saver sheets) Are made by Shout and if you have a mixed load of clothing, whites or lights with some darks, the sheets catch any dye released by the dark colors sot hat your lights don't start looking dingy. I always separate my cloths but my kids don't, especially the boys, they just toss a mixed load in and this keeps the clothes looking great.

Very interesting, how you handle your laundry there.

That's a lot of laundry. It's a good idea though. Certainly a lot cheaper than what we use.
