Someone decided to pay me a visit one night and I didn't waste any time grabbing my camera first.

jama,

is this a smelly beetle?

Thanks for kind comments about my flowers.

Pity I don't live in Singapore any more. I was the secretary of NTU staff residents gardening club. I had so many plants including the world's hottest chilli. I would give you some. My girl friends and I had good time eating it.

That's a beautiful beetle! I would have put it in a bottle and let my students study it. :)

Very nice shots! There are more beetles on Earth than any other beings. When E.O Wilson, who studied insects, was once asked about God, he said all he knew was God was very fond of beetles.

I hope you have not been affected by the earthquake I've read about this morning in Singapore.
