EMPS # 53 : TREES

Coconut trees, always found by the sea, especially for the tropical countries.
Of course for some country like Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand....these trees are abundance in villages too, since coconut milk are used in the daily cooking. In Singapore one can only find these trees around the beach area.

Funny I also did a tree post. I like coconut trees, I can draw it really well.

It is very cheap to talk on the cell phone in Singapore. Here it costs 50 per voice call, and 35 per text. I hide my cell phone and only use it when my car break down to call the AA. LOL

Hi Jama :)

Oh my, what a great angle! Goodness, Alan is allergic to coconut, so I would have to substitute that ingredient if I tried one of those recipes. I wonder how it would turnout with sweetened condenced milk? Anyway, sorry about that, I went off on a recipe tangent! LOL. Lovely tree, lovely photo!

I really like the angle on your first shot. NICE!!! Palm trees make me long for a beach and a good book.

I love the coco palms too! My husband and I were sitting under one while on a beautiful beach in Hawaii...a coconut fell from the tree and bounced just a few feet away from us! Be CAREFUL! Beautiful pictures and post!

It has been so long since I have seen one of these up close and personal. Guess that is the downfall to living closer to the mountains. I really like number two with the trees and activity mostly in silhouette. There is just enough detail to be able to make out what is going on. It gives a sense of place without distracting from the trees.

Those look so tall! I never understood how those trees get so tall and yet are so narrow.

I love palm trees! My sister lives in southern California where to buy one is expensive. She had one grow volunteer in her back yard and she really babied it! LOL! Nice pictures!

The second photograph I found stunning.
The trees framed the picture where people formed the subject and both were joined together in silhouette.
Fantastic!
