This week's theme is chosen by Emma.
Being in a tropical island, we only have 2 weather, mostly it's sunny/ cloudy days with occasional rain.
When it's hot and humid day like this, time to go to the beach or pool. This was taken at Jurong East Swimming Complex, it has a waved pool minus the sand.
A cloudy day at Raffles Place.
One rainy afternoon at Clark Quay, otherwise this place is never deserted, there's always people walking by the river.
Rain drops on the glass roof.
Minutes after this photo was taken, heavy rain fell.
Snow in Singapore?
Fat chance! it's only artificially snow, well actually just suds.....but the kids seem not to mind. Usually around December, this mall nearest to my home will have this big Christmas tree just outside it's entrance with the artificial snow blowing at certain time of the day.
Well, this is the closest we get to a white Christmas being in a tropical country and no one's complaining, except may be the cleaning crew, more works for them to clear the 'snow' to make that passageway safe to walk.

my rat ! hahaha !
Singapore sure is a colorful place. It's very cheerful. I like the photo of the clouds before the rain. Great shot. Nice photos to showcase the climate in your area.
I remember taking my kids to this soapy snow in Singapore.
Thanks for congrats to Sam. He has gone for a nice 3 day camp with his friends.
What a great picture of the clouds above the skyscrapers!
I could use a little of your sunshine these days.
lovely pictures..
children are wonderful, don't know they are missing something so they enjoy the moment.... being sprinkled with suds is fun if you think about it... doesn't have to be snow flakes.
the photo of the storm clouds moving in is great
Jama: That was a nice series showing your changing skies, loved the "snow".
Snow. Beautiful snow.I want.I want
Wonderful photo of many places. Its heavy rain outside I mean in Kuching right now...Can't do much of photographing this day.
Have a wonderful weekend.
So different from our strange climate. And so much warmer.
The photo of the clouds looking up the length of the skyscrapers was very dramatic.
Oh how fun to see a different climate!! Giggle love the suds..that's creative!! Just beautiful shots..every one! Sarah
can I come live with you?? :-)
so beautiful and colorful. love the fake snow too. great idea.
have a wonderful weekend!!
First I must apologize for being so far behind, blizzard, hubs home and underfoot, grandkids spent a night, and gingerbread houses have left me little time on the computer over the last few days.
I would love the sun! But probably tire of the heat that I bet comes along with it. The fake snow is fun!
I was drawn here by the mention (on Barry's blog) of warm weather!
This is a beautiful blog. I have just spent a very pleasant 15 minutes looking at Singapore through your photographs, admiring both the wide views and the exquisite details of dragonflies and flowers. The gardens are truly beautiful, an aspect of Singapore I would not have guessed at.
Jurong Swim Complex looks like fun!!
My 2 will probably go wild there :)
That's AMK Hub? My Mil lives next to it, but have yet to check out the decorations. I should head there soon :-)
Happy Weekend!!
That first picture warmed me up after several days of below zero here.
The sky scraper shot made me dizzy! Great stuff.
Ha! You fooled me! I love that, a snow machine...I forgot I have to go see Santa! I too like all the shots as you presented them, great!
Another perfect photos! I thought you experience real snow in Singapore but it was actually fake snow. But i can see the kids were enjoying
BTW, can I grab the best photo of yours that I like? I will make another special post. Thanks in advance!
That first shot makes me want to go on vacation!
I love your snow. That's much better than the real stuff. Beautiful photos, all.
Suds! I thought it was paper confetti at first, what a cool picture. I also love the one of the swimming complex with the curved building and interesting pool. Beautiful shots.
Love your second photo, and the "artificial weather" too! :)
What lovely weather! Your shot of the "snow in Singapore" is clever...
That was a welcome relief after all the snow photos - I was starting to feel chilly! I like the clouds above the skyscraper shot!
