The Chinese Lunar New Year will be on the 14th of February, and red is consider as an auspicious color according to tradition. Plenty of reds in front of a mall , to welcome the year of Tiger.( Chinese Zodiac calender)
Amazing how they can transform from Xmas decorations to CNY decorations :P Little Tiger inching his way through.. is it me only? But this year's CNY seem pretty quiet.

What do they predict for the year of the tiger?
They should have a strong and fierce tiger instead of a cute pussy cat.
I remember when I was in Pri school, Hari Raya and CNy coincided, we had such long holidays.
