Taken 2 weekends ago , at the East Coast Beach of Singapore. Don't pay any attention to the man or his kite, but look beyond that. Doesn't the cloud looks like a big giant hole wanting to suck in the ships below? Perhaps just my imagination.....but it does belonged to the Strange AND Unusual sight category, don't you think so?.
I wasn't paying any attention to the clouds when I took the picture of the man flying the kite, until I got home and see the enlarged photo on my monitor.

Oh yes! Those clouds look quite ominous and threatening hovering over those ships...the kite just might go with the ships too...very cool scene!
I love it! Years ago I took a picture of a cloud a bit like this. I turned it into some strange color and then claimed it was a vortex into another universe or something.
What I like best about your photo is it works on two completely different levels - the man and the kite, and the cloud and the ships. Very well done!
The cloud looks scary... it is parting to swallow the man up!
The clouds looks extremely heavy, like it is going to collapse anytime!
Hi!
I see it...that big hole in the middle. Kind of looks like the beginning of tornado. Great capture! Have a great day!

i do see a sort of eye pattern in the clouds, which is really interesting. looks like something you'd see in a movie, right before UFO's come down. :)
Wow, that is one scary looking cloud!
that sky is pretty crazy looking, yikes! But beautiful at the same time...i think i'd want to be close to shelter just in case :)
That is a very unusual cloud formation almost UFO scary!
Hi Jama :)
Goodness that sky looks spooooky. :( Great choice for this week's assignment! It's even more strange because everything else in the photo looks so lighthearted and natural

When I first looked at the shot I thought this isn't strange or unusual at all. Then I thought it must be all the ships lined up to go somewhere. I had to read your words to find the clouds. Very interesting for sure.
