A muslim lady photographer with her head COVERED with a scarf and her face with the big camera!
As a circular country, wearing of headscarves for the muslims in Singapore are allowed as long as it doesn't go against the rules of the establishments, like in schools or uniformed clad jobs like the police, army, nurses, immigrations... the Muslims are also free to not wear headscarves if they don't want to, no one will come after them with a fine or stick, unlike some other Muslim countries.

I wonder what she was photographing!
Hi Jama, very good photo for the theme. I'm not playing this week, just visiting :)
This shot is really beautiful! Love the colour of her head covering!
Hi Jama, I love how you captured this women taking her photos, in her head covering. Great for this weeks theme. I also loved all of your other photos, the one of your niece is darling, and the one of the fresh budding green plant is great too!!
Hi Jama --
Er... I think you mean secular, not circular.
And it's interesting to see you in a tudung as my only Muslim Singaporean friend doesn't wear tudung (even though she is a devout Muslim).
Now this is something you don't see everyday!
Excellent photo, Jama. Great shallow depth-of-field makes the subject pop out.
Hope you have been well. I have been b-u-s-y, but I retire in May so hope to have more time to keep up with blogging friends.
lovely photo. great take for the theme.
Here's my covered take
she sure is very covered:) wonder now what she is focusing on. great capture! my PH is here.
aloha,
what a great interpretation of the theme today, very creative and colorful, i love the color of the head scarf, it adds to the details
Covering the face with the camera is also a very popular portrait shot for the icons of many blogger's profile.
Soksabay from Cambodia, Jama! Great photo for this week's PH theme. I checked out your other photos and I enjoyed them all! Keep on taking more photos :D

Nice one. You definitely have this theme COVERED.
Maybe the freedom to chose is why hers is so much prettier than the black ones I'm used to seeing in the news.
I think this is genius.
Perfect for the theme, Jama!
this is a great post--let's celebrate our differences!:p
That is you, right Mummyjam?
Is this you ? just a guess
