ABC Wednesday: T is for TOPIARY

Topiary is the art of creating sculptures in the medium of clipped trees, shrubs and sub-shrubs. The word derives from the Latin word for an ornamental landscape gardener, topiarius, creator of topia or "places".

I saw some in the Singapore Zoo, but these are from elsewhere, rught?

The men in my photos, I remember they were supposed to be Malay men. May be Malays in Sarawak wear different clothes.

In 1975, I went to Canada and then to NZ. in 1990, I came to Singapore. I was very surprised the Muslim women changed their clothing to Baju Kurong and Tudong their head. Before I left in 1975, the women had a lacy scarf.

What do you wear? You are just as shy as you boys. We don't see your photo.

Perfect for T! And, how cute they are. I saw some great topiaries in Florida last year, too.
