Great choice, and picture too, but oh! How I hate Venetian blinds! Comes from my first job, no doubt, where one of my tasks was to clean them all. There were so many - it was a nasty job, they got so dirty, and they'd cut my fingers too.
I don't mind them in other people's houses, but I will never install them!
Always in movies, they show people peeping out of windows by separating the blinds.
When I first came to NZ as a student, I lived opposite a blind factory. They still sell the blind but the factory has moved. The ad Van lu lee still rings in my head.

Wow! Cool. I've a house full of them and the word didn't cross my mind. Of course, mine aren't shiny ~ they're a tad dusty. :)
