That's great!! I like the angle, too.
Sadly, we are not encouraged to fly our national flag, here in England, though it is getting a little better. It became associated with football hooliganism, racism, violence and the National Front (an extreme political party) and people would assume you belonged to one of those groups.
We've been trying to reclaim our flag in recent years and I think we're succeeding!
we called our nephew in Singapore, We got no school, Why? National Day.
So festive looking, and so filled with pride.
