A walk in the park

I'm combining Ellipsis Monday Photo Shoot and Friday My Town Shoot Out in this entry as both theme's for this week is very similar, Photographer's choice or Shooter's choice.

I went for a walk in the Ang Mo Kio park which is very near my apartment 2 days ago and I would like to share what I see at the park with fellow participants of FMTSO. The park is just across from the  Library, with shops, supermarket, food courts and school arounds. There's a playground nearby with McDonald drive in outlet just next to it. Not exactly a very quiet place but I love going there to scout around for flowers , insects , dragonflies, spiders........

I was not alone....another photographer had the same idea with me.

Some of the dragonflies at the park, I have to stand very near to the pond's edge to capture this little beauty a distance away from me.

Plenty of butterflies and spiders there..

A little critter up the tree, too fast for me to catch it!

In my last visit to this park, I saw a little grass snake slithering around so I was very careful not to cross path with it again, but luckily I didn't see any snake .

A playground just ahead of the parks, it was a mid afternoon , there was a group of students from the nearby school enjoying themselves there.

I hope you enjoyed the little walk with me, managed to get lots of macro shots here, I will share them in the near future.

My, my, which one should I comment? They are all exquisite shots; the waterlily is amazing and the squirrel, the dragonfly...the perfect moment to be there. What a beautiful park!

All such beautiful photos. But my attention is stucky on the spider. How do you manage to capture a spider looking so cute? That's a word I never thought I would apply to a spider. Well done, indeed!
