Flora and Fauna is my most favorite subject to photograph and I had a hard time choosing just a few to showcase here. The first is my favorite flower, the rose. Here is a special hybrid of a red and white roses, taken during the Sentosa Flower Festival a few years ago.
A red hibiscus, this flower is the national flower of Malaysia and they thrive in hot climate .
A yellow wildflower, the Creeping Daisy.
The critter that comes with the flora and fauna- A monitor lizard- spotted near the Lower Seletar Reservoir.

Oh my, this is so lush and beautiful, just gorgeous. I can see why it must have been hard to pick your favorites!
The dragonfly is perfect.
I like the plant that accompany the succulent on the 3rd photo. Any idea what it is?
The other photos just reminds me of how beautiful Singapore is, if only the weather is not so hot.
I love the Dragonfly ,Butterfly and the Lizard. But the flower are beautiful too.
Gosh - three of mt favourites in one post - a dragonfly,a monitor lizard and a butterfly. Thank you. And over in the UK Hibiscus are considered exotic house plants.
i super love that hybrid rose and the hibiscus. awesome shots as always Jama ",)
What beautiful lush plants. But, the monitor has my vote, isn't he magnificent? Are his flecks a creamy/yellowy colour? He looks like he could be the brother/sister of a regular visitor when I lived in North Queensland. I have a big lump in my throat just looking at your photo. Loved your photos.
Oh my Jama...as always I am blown away by the lushness of your home..so beautiful!! Every shot is wonderful! I was surprised by the monitor lizard...wow..they are a bit scary!!! Wonderful shootout hon!! Sarah
Beautiful pics. The rose reminds me of a candy cane. The lizard is a bit intimidating.
Some very beautiful shots! I love the Hibiscus.
Absolutely beautiful! I wish I could visit that place - although I think the lizard would freak me out a bit.
These are gorgeous photos, so lush and green and vivid in color. I think my favorite is the dragonfly but that lizard is one eye catching critter.
What a beautiful place; so well showcased by you! I'm wondering how often you might come across a monitor lizard in daily life??? Yikes!
How gorgeous! I especially love the lillies - they're my favorite flower :)
The lizard is pretty great, too...makes the chipmunks and squirrels that I see in my backyard seem pretty tame in comparison.
I agree this rose is just beautiful!! Love the colors!!
