PhotoHunt #232 - NATURAL

Moon, earth's only NATURAL satellite and is the 5th largest satellite in the Solar System.
The bright star above the crescent is Venus. After moon, Venus is  the brightest NATURAL object in the night sky.

Picture taken on the 11th September 2010 around 9 pm, right outside my apartment.

Great shot I love the contrast between the man made and that natural. Great take on the theme

I agree with Jams. The contradiction between natural and man-made is what makes this photo.

Boy, we are all just birds of a feather here, because that was my exact reaction to this photo. Perfect juxtaposition.

So bright, despite the city lights!

beautiful! I'm amazed you could still see the moon in big city lights.

Quite the juxtaposition between the moon and Venus and the city. Interesting and strong take on the theme.

My PhotoHunt is here.
