Can I share with you something. I volunteer teaching English in my church. We had been having muslim students, and even an Imman. They just ate our morning tea. The Imman did look at our ingredient and said vegetable oil is oil.
Then I have a new student who asked for Halal biscuits. Because I grew up in Sarawak and lived in Singapore, I knew it was good to respect his request. So I took it up to management. I said, last tiem we didn't think about it, now now we know, we should.
So we bought special Malaysian Halal biscuits. The Algerain and Indonesian thanked me for it.
