In memory of Barry

Barry Fraser passed away on Tuesday, 20th July 2010, leaving behind his love ones and friends from all over the world.  We are practically strangers but cyberworld have made us friends. We crossed path as participants of Friday Shoot outs. I read about his fight against cancer in his blog , his writing was so inspiring, so full of life despite the difficult journey. I've always look forward to his comments which are encouraging and humorous.

We all have to cross that bridge someday and hopefully  when our turn arrive, someone familiar will be there to hold our hands and walk together to eternity.

Rest in peace dear Barry, you will be miss but not forgotten as  you're forever living in our hearts and memories.

FMTSO: Feet and shoes

This week assignment - Feet and Shoes, was chosen by JarieLyn   from Nevada.

I was in the MRT train on my way home yesterday, when I see this pair of beautiful shoes on someone's feet. Quickly and discreetly I took out my camera to photographed them for this week's entry . I don't think I could last one hour wearing these shoes now. 30 years ago, as a Customer Service I could stand for hours , even run in these heels, but not anymore. Nowadays comfort  are my first choice.

As much as I love the design, these are not for me. Too high! If I don't have to walk around in them, then maybe I would buy. They are too pretty to resist, don't you think?

My favorite pair of shoes, the wedges- they are so comfortable, even if I have to be on my feet for hours.

Special shoes for these talented feet.

Three different feet with shoes, which one do you prefer? I prefer the middle , because they are mine! lol

 A bride heavily hennaed feet.

Sandy feet at the beach, now where did I leave the footwear?

This big fella does not required any kind of footwear at all...

EMPS # CEMETERIES

" EMPS #99: CEMETERIES.
CEMETERIES... Creepy? Or Peaceful? John Scalzi posed this question back when he was the host of the Monday Photo Shoot, and I thought this might be a good time to revisit the subject! By the way, CEMETERIES doesn't have to be limited to what traditionally comes to mind when we think of this subject, an auto wrecking yard might also be considered a CEMETERY. Use your imagination with this one.

Extra Credit: I would like to see both a color and black & white photo interpretation of the subject. Let's explore the emotion we get from the two different views."

Old cemeteries at the Armenian Apositolic  Church of St Gregory the Illuminator, which was built in 1835, in 1973, the building was gazetted as a national monument by the National Preservation Board.
Within the tranquility of the tropical landscape lies the Memorial Garden with the tomb markings of Armenians who died in Singapore.  The tombstones were transported here in the late 1960’s from the Bukit Timah.
