EMPS # 109 : Garbage Day

I live in a highrise apartment with a rubbish chute in the kitchen, under the sink. Most rubbish are put into bags and discarded in it, there's a bigger bin at the bottom of the block to collect all garbages, which will be cleared daily by the cleaner employed by the town council. For re-recyclable items, there's a bin at the void deck, which are collected weekly.

 A bin in the park.

Bin for recyclable items .

Hello Jama :)

I wish, wish, wish we had a chute to toss our garbage! LOL. OH MY. That would be a dream come true. I guess I have strange dreams! LOL. I am right there with you on the recycling, I use an old laundry basket too! :)

By the way I LOVE the pics on the sidebar! They are all wonderful, but I REALLY love the pencils! You took an everyday object and made it look FABULOUS! Excellent!

Next Sunday, I am going to be a rubbish educaator again. If you come to NZ on Feb 6, I take you along. You get to sleep a night in a Marea, a great privilege. Then you can photograph to your hearts content.

I wish I could recycle more. It is very difficult here due to lack of local government participation. I can recycle plastic bags and aluminum cans (a bit harder to do than the bags).
