FMTSO: Scavenger Hunt

" Scavenger Hunt suggested by Mark, Butler and Bagman - Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. I guess that is four

*straight out of the camera, no editing
*one photo per word
*three words for each hunt
* add a fourth photo if you can find all three hunt words in one (or just post this one photo)
* hunt area includes your town, surrounding areas, surrounding countryside"

Something very OLD!

Something NEW- Samsung Galaxy S, all mine!

While the son BORROWed my camera on an outing to the Botanic Gardens, I have to satisfy myself with my handphone's camera. At 8 megapixels, it produced good photos!

A clear and BLUE sky greeted us , just outside the gate of the Botanical Garden.

Oh there has been some technical development hasn't there... I went through a number of typewriters before I got computerized... And now I have an Android phone as well!

Great selection. I almost didn't recognize the keyboard thing next to the fan. I guess we used to call them typewriters. I seem to remember that there was also something called "carbon paper". Wow. Make sure you get your camera back from your son.

Wow that typewriter helps me a lot with my term paper when I was in high school and college. Even when I was working in the 90's we still use the old underwood typewriter and the ones who can used the computer is the programmer lol! Now everybody has one lol! I like your interpretation of borrowed Jama. Happy weekend!

I've got one of those old-fangled typewriters in the bottom of my closet... BTW, your phone takes great pics!

If there's one thing that makes me feel old, it's technology! But thank heavens for it, those old typewriters were a trial. As for Mark's carbon paper - I could have nightmares remembering that. I really enjoyed your selections. And I'm envious of your new phone!

Well I don't feel I will ever get a phone like that but you did good.
Your camera looks like a good one.

Neat interpretation of the Theme...I do remember the typewriter well. Your phone pics turned out great and you were very nice to loan that awesome camera to your son.
