I went for a walk with a group of friends to the Alexandra Canal which have been fully upgraded months ago but I had only found the time to go recently. Weather was balmy with light showers but it was a pleasant walk nevertheless.
Alexandra waterway has been transformed under Public Utilities Board's -Active, Beautiful , Clean Water programme ( ABC Water), into venue for recreations and community bonding near the water.
One end of canal still runs under this little transformed park which has become a favorite resting place for the residents nearby.

I drean that one day I may discover such places! I particularly like the flowers and plants along the canal image. (Sorry, I'm so late getting to visit you!)
Isn't it lovely. Congratulations to those who created such a transformation. We have lots of old canals that run through towns in England and could obviously learn a lot from your designers.
