X is for XV1600, a kit-model from Tamiya, belonged to my younger son who loved to play with construction- toys since young. Now he's upgraded into models of cars, motorcycles and Japanese figurine Gundam.

All done and into the display cabinet it goes.

Even though it's  always sunny here in Singapore, not many people wear hats. Mostly it's used by foreign workers and picnic goers......but you're likely to see people wearing caps than hats.

Saw this hat with the name RAVI on it, when I was taking a stroll along Punggol beach one afternoon.

Later on, while walking towards the bus stop, I saw this man- I guess he  must be Ravi- he willingly posed for me.

One can still find shops selling hats here, one of them is at Marina Bay Sands Shopping mall.

During the recent Volunteer Appreciation Tea organised by a local self -help organization, the theme was Hats off to Volunteers and invited guests must don a hat to the event. These 3 are the finalist for the best hat for males and the winner is the one in the middle, I believe in a sombrero.

One of my nephew in a borrowed hat from a shop, we didn't buy any but the kids managed to get some fun posing in the hats.

My niece, Lily, in a wacky hat at Universal Studios Singapore.

Visitors are allowed to pose with the many hats right outside one of the shop there.

Most people here prefer the cap than hat.

Wooden bench to rest those tired feet for a while.

ABC Wednesday; Waterfall

 Visiting a WATERFALL in Tioman Island, Malaysia...it'a a long WALK up the hill.

The refreshing Asah WATERFALL.

After that WET day at the WATERFALL , it's another 15minutes WALK  downhill through the WOODED area to the jetty .

My colorful clothe pegs- I don't have any dryer at home, who need them when it's always sunny here with average temperature of 34degrees Celsius .The wet clothes are hung on poles outside the highrise apartment and clothe pegs are needed to hold them in place from being blown away by the wind.

Esplanade Theater next to the Marina Bay, very near the CBD area. Just further ahead you can see the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and the Singapore Flyer. The area is one of the most popular place for the locals and tourists. Photographers love to come here during daytime and night, to photographed the many iconic buildings around here.
