A man-made park near my house, the Bottle Tree Park, named after the Bottle Tree in the background. It's a favorite place for the urbanite Singaporean to chill, whether for fishing, enjoying the nature or having a quiet meal by the lake.

A great place for photographers.

 

There's a herb garden and nursery near this area,

 

Outdoor eating , with the Mass Rapit Transit (mrt) train passing through near the park.

Tulips

These tulips were spotted in a Flower show month ago, they don't grow well here due to our tropical heat, but the organizer still bring them in.The tulips opened up fast and wilt within days. Hopefully with the completed construction of the new Botanic Garden by the Bay soon, the enclosed dome area with controlled temperature , we will be able to see more flowers from the  colder countries , being grown here.
