FMTSO: Creepy Crawlies

I love photographing the creepy crawlies as long as they stay still and do not crawl to me. I used to be very squeamish about these little creatures until the sons came into my life. One of them was into insects, bugs....and would always bring some creepy crawlies home in a little bottle, in the pretense of studying them!

Whenever he tag along on my photo outing, he would be on the look-out for the creepy crawlies/ insects to be my model .

centipede among the grass.

An ant guarding it's eggs.

A red catterpillar, which will turn into...

a leopard lacewing butterfly.

Another pretty catterpiller which I rather leave it alone after it's gorgeous patterns on it's body, wonder what kind of butterfly will emerged from it?

Big spider...

and little horned-spider..

The big spider, the tarantula.

FMTSO: Scavenger Hunt

" Scavenger Hunt suggested by Mark, Butler and Bagman - Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. I guess that is four

*straight out of the camera, no editing
*one photo per word
*three words for each hunt
* add a fourth photo if you can find all three hunt words in one (or just post this one photo)
* hunt area includes your town, surrounding areas, surrounding countryside"

Something very OLD!

Something NEW- Samsung Galaxy S, all mine!

While the son BORROWed my camera on an outing to the Botanic Gardens, I have to satisfy myself with my handphone's camera. At 8 megapixels, it produced good photos!

A clear and BLUE sky greeted us , just outside the gate of the Botanical Garden.

EMPS: Foreground and backgroud

This assignment is a bit more detail oriented. For this assignment please create a new photo that concentrates on both the FOREGROUND AND BACKGROUNDS in detail. Meaning, please create an image that shows one or the other in fine detail, while keeping the other in enough focus to tell what it is."
