FMTSO: Hidden Niches

"Hidden Niches : a quiet spot for coffee, a place to read a book or a small secret garden..."  - Another difficult theme this week, as we're a small island, it it's a great place, sooner or latter, someone will eventually share it and it won't be a hidden niche for long.

Bottle Tree Park is located near a train station and lots of people love to go there during the weekend for the food , fishing, prawning and a nice place for the kids to hang out by the pond . But at one end of the place is almost completely devoid of human visitation except maybe for photographers ...because the  area was not open to public but I managed to walk in because there's no one to stop me....

I would love to just sit here , to enjoy the quietness and the natural surrounding .
There's a little are where vegetable farming are done, on a small scale.

Look what I found , hidden in an enclosure ...something from the bygone era!! I could hear some workers doing some works at the back but they took no notice of me at all. I quickly took photos of the place and made my exit.

I'm glad I made that long walk further in, there's so many things to be photographed here.

Below are the two scene familiar with the visitors.

lovely park, and what a gem to find the end space, looks like their workshop, restoration area. the tires on the floor will show up in a play area for the kids.... I love the 'I went in because no one was there to stop me' - I understand that well.
have a great week.

Great fun to find something from the bygone era - no doubt about that being a hidden niche.

These are all such wonderful photos and so many different ways to express the meaning of niche.

Thank you for going further in, beyond the public area. The room of colorful tires is so interesting, and definiely a hidden niche. You made a true discovery!
